Super marathon: St.Petersburg-to-Lipovo
(June 12, 2003)

A small group of local skaters run about 70 km and reached Lipovo, near Sosnovui Bor.

Some skaters already skated this route last year. Both in night, and daylight. While skating, you can pass along Strelna (recent Sea Residence of RF President) and Peterhof (famous satellite city of guardens and fountains). We decided to skate as a whole group. Our skate was not a competition. Simply, nice group skate.

Along our way we stopped at a former military station. Here we found this helicopter. Some skaters tried to occupy it. On skates… They have done it!
